Pam has over 17 years of experience in employee benefits and pension plan consulting and actuarial work. Throughout her career, Pam’s focus has been to provide actuarial services, consulting advice and technical expertise on the design, implementation, administration and funding of defined benefit, defined contribution and retiree medical plans.
Prior to joining ACI, she worked as a pension plan actuarial consultant for Mercer Human Resource Consulting for more than 8 years. During this period, she worked directly with clients to manage HR challenges and consult on defined benefit, defined contribution and retiree medical benefit plans. She was also the hiring manager and lead recruiter for entry level personnel for the local retirement practice. Other responsibilities included generating new business, growing current business relationships, and supervising and mentoring actuarial analysts.
Before that, Pam worked for 6 years as an actuarial analyst at Towers Perrin, focusing on actuarial valuations, nondiscrimination testing, 5500 filings, FAS87 accounting for pensions and post-retirement medical plans, benefit calculations, and plan design.
Pam graduated from UCLA in 1991 with a BS in Applied Mathematics. She earned her Enrolled Actuary status in 2003 and became a member of the American Academy of Actuaries in 2004.
