Alison began her career in the pension industry in 1988 after receiving a degree in Computer Science from the University of Manitoba. She served as an actuarial technician and manager of actuarial practices for Turnbull & Turnbull in her native Canada for 10 years before joining the ACI team in 2001.
Exceptional at the art of designing and performing the complex mathematical calculations for plans that are individually constructed to garner the results clients wants, Alison’s capabilities as lead administrator, manager go far beyond the standard. In addition to handling a full case load and serving as the firm’s point person for technical resources, Alison sits on ACI’s Technical Positions Committee which reviews ongoing legislation change, creates and implements strategies for communicating information to new clients and developing ACI standards and procedures.
She is currently working towards an ERPA and QKA designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
